Samia Dabbou is an Associate Professor of Biochemistry at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Monastir, University of Monastir, and holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology. She is a member of the research unit “Bioactive and Natural Substances and Biotechnology UR17ES49,” and has led several nationally and internationally funded research projects focusing on bioactive molecules.

Strongly committed to educational innovation, she holds advanced certifications in Health Sciences Pedagogy and Digital Pedagogy, along with a professional certification in Digital Instructional Design awarded by the IFIC-AUF. She serves as coordinator of the Certificate of Complementary Studies (CEC) entitled “Information and Communication Technologies in Support of University Pedagogy.” In addition, she is a certified expert trainer in distance education at the University of Monastir and acts as pedagogical referent for the 2025 CerticeScol MOOC. Furthermore, she has actively participated in numerous educational conferences and has led several workshops focused on the pedagogical integration of artificial intelligence in higher education. Her academic interests also encompass the integration of educational technologies and the development of digital competencies within higher education.
